Privacy Policy
This explains what information Zroni Enterprise collects when you use this site, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It is written in plain English wherever we can.
Who we are
Zroni Enterprise is a Ghana-based agro-export business in Accra, Ghana. For the purposes of data protection law we are the “controller” of the personal information described here: the business that decides how and why it is used. You can reach us at any time at zronienterprise@gmail.com.
Information we collect, and why
Quote and contact form. When you complete the request form on our contact page, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, destination country or port, and the product and specifications you are interested in (required), and, where you provide them, your company, phone or WhatsApp number, an estimated volume, and any extra message. We use these to understand your enquiry and reply to you.
The form is delivered through Web3Forms, a third-party form service that receives your submission and forwards it to our inbox. We do not store the submission in a database of our own; it reaches us by email. A hidden anti-spam field is included to deter automated bots and is not information about you.
WhatsApp. Several places on this site link to WhatsApp so you can message us directly. If you contact us that way, the conversation happens inside WhatsApp under WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy; we receive the number and messages you send us.
Analytics. Only if you accept the analytics category in our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Nothing analytics-related runs until you accept it. See “Cookies and analytics” below.
Server and hosting logs. Like almost every website, ours automatically generates standard server logs when you visit — for example your IP address, the pages requested and the time. This is a normal part of hosting a site securely and happens for every visitor.
The legal basis for using it
- Replying to your enquiry: to take steps at your request before any possible business dealing, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
- Server and hosting logs: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and running.
- Analytics: your consent, given or withdrawn through the cookie banner.
Who we share your information with
We rely on a small number of outside services to run this site:
- Web3Forms — receives your quote/contact form submission and forwards it to us by email.
- Google Analytics (only with your consent) — helps us see how the site is used, for example which pages are popular. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Our hosting provider — serves the website and produces the standard server logs described above.
- Google Fonts — this site loads its typefaces from Google's font service, which receives your IP address to deliver them. This happens for every visitor and is not gated by the cookie banner, as it is needed to display the site correctly rather than to track you. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
- WhatsApp — only if you choose to message us there.
We do not sell your information to anyone.
Cookies and analytics
Every page shows a cookie banner, and a permanent “Cookie settings” button in the bottom-left corner lets you change your choice at any time. There are two categories:
- Strictly necessary: a single cookie that remembers the choice you make in the banner. Always on, because the site could not otherwise respect your preference.
- Analytics: off unless you accept it. Google Analytics is loaded only after you accept this category; if you reject it, the analytics script is never loaded. If you later withdraw consent, the related analytics cookies are cleared.
The measurement is provided by Google Analytics 4. We do not run advertising or remarketing on this site.
International transfers
Some of the services above (such as Web3Forms and Google) may process information outside Ghana, including in the United States and elsewhere. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses. Email us if you would like more detail on a specific provider.
How long we keep your information
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to answer you and, if we go on to do business together, to manage that relationship. We remove enquiries we no longer have a reason to keep. If you would like your information deleted sooner, email us and we will action it. We do not control how long Google keeps analytics data.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erase your information.
- Restrict or object to how we use it.
- Receive a copy in a portable format.
- Withdraw analytics consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” button, with no effect on anything done beforehand.
To exercise any of these, email zronienterprise@gmail.com. In Ghana, personal data is protected under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), overseen by the Data Protection Commission, and you may raise a concern with them. If you are in the UK or EU, you may also contact your local data protection authority.
Children’s data and automated decisions
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you; every enquiry is read and handled by a person.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make a meaningful change we will update the date below.
